Before starting operations, operators must comprehensively inspect the overall condition of the high-speed circular knife machine and strictly prohibit operation with the equipment in an abnormal state. First, check the machine body, knife blades, protective cover, fastening screws, and other structures to confirm that the blades have no chipping, cracks, or looseness, and that the protective cover closes properly and the protective devices are complete and effective. Next, check whether the electrical circuits, switches, and grounding circuit are normal, whether the circuits have aging, damage, or leakage issues, and at the same time check the lubrication system and cooling system to ensure sufficient lubricating oil and cooling liquid and unobstructed pipelines.
Operators must wear dedicated labor protection supplies, and are strictly prohibited from wearing gloves, scarves, necklaces, and other easily entangled items. Long hair must be tied up and secured to avoid being caught by high-speed rotating parts during operation. At the same time, clean the workbench and surrounding debris, keep the operating area neat and unobstructed, and confirm that no one is near the hazardous operating area of the equipment before preparing to start the machine.
2. Start-Up and Operation Specifications
When starting the high-speed circular knife machine, it is necessary to first run it idle for 3-5 minutes and observe whether the equipment operates smoothly and whether there are any abnormal conditions such as noise, vibration, or jamming. Only after confirming that the equipment is normal may formal cutting operations begin. During operation, process strictly according to the equipment parameters, and adjust the cutting speed and feed speed appropriately according to the material and thickness of the workpiece. Overload, cutting hard materials beyond specifications, and cutting thick materials are strictly prohibited to prevent blade breakage and equipment overload damage.
During feeding, push the workpiece at a uniform and stable speed. It is forbidden to let hands approach the cutting area of the blades, and strictly forbidden to reach into the equipment's protective area to adjust materials or clear waste. During batch operation, keep the workpieces neatly arranged and firmly secured to avoid workpiece deviation or slipping, which may cause cutting deviation or safety accidents. If abnormal conditions such as equipment noise, jamming, or blade shaking occur during operation, stop the machine and cut off the power immediately, and it is forbidden to disassemble the machine or inspect and repair faults while the equipment is running.
3. Shutdown and End-of-Shift Standards
After a single operation is completed, wait until the high-speed circular knife machine blade has completely stopped rotating and the equipment is fully powered off before cleaning the debris, iron filings, and sundries on the workbench. It is forbidden to extend hands for cleaning before the equipment has fully stopped. After daily operations, turn off the equipment's main power, air source, and water source, and clean and maintain the equipment guide rails, blades, and transmission parts. Refill lubricating oil and cooling liquid in a timely manner to extend the service life of the equipment.
At the same time, keep good equipment operation records and check the wear condition of each equipment component. If issues such as blade wear, loose parts, or circuit faults are found, report them for repair in a timely manner. It is strictly forbidden to privately disassemble or modify the equipment structure. Equipment that is idle for a long time must be dustproof and rustproof, and idle trial runs should be conducted periodically to ensure stable equipment performance and to systematically avoid all kinds of safety hazards.
